Once in Chacala, we put out our stern anchor and set in for town. Town consists of one dirt road with palapas on the beach, and some small stores.
Our days there were relaxing; had breakfast, rowed to the beach, told tall tales on sailing experiences, and back to the boat for BBQ. Our last day there we rowed the dinghy to the beach. On the way home we got swamped by a 5 foot wave. Needless to say, we were a little wet once back on the Sandpiper.
Adios,
Capt'n Tom & First Mate Amy
