Greetings All!

Hope this finds everyone well and warm. Tom and I left Marina El Cid yesterday afternoon to come and anchor out on the south side of Mazatlan. It sure was hard to leave the luxury of the Marina; cable TV, swimming pools, hot tub, restaurants, and the laundry lady.

Our last days at the Marina were filled with errands. It took us 6 hours to go grocery shopping on Monday because of a quick tour of the Pacifico Brewery in the middle. We were also able to pick up our radio (SSB), and it is toast. We've already ordered a new one. But we won't have it till after the first of the year.

Monday night we had a lovely holiday/going away dinner with Team Chaitanya. They are going back home for the holidays, and it may be a long time before we see them again.

Leaving the marina it felt like we hadn't been on the boat in a long time. Once reaching the anchorage, we spotted our friends from Voyager. We had dinner with Neil and Jackie last night. This morning we are getting ready to take off. Every time I think the long trips are over, we have another one.

Today's trip is to San Blas. It's 120 miles from Mazatlan, which means 24 hours of sailing. Hopefully we have a little wind.

We will write once we reach Puerto Vallarta, which will probably be around 5 days. I know some of you are sending out Christmas cards. If your feeling adventures and want to send mail to Mexico, then our address is as follow:
Paradise Village Beach Resort & Spa
Paseo De Los Cocoteros 001
Nuevo Vallarta, Nayarit 63731
Mexico
Attn: Sandpiper

Stay warm,
Amy

Bye Team Sandpiper! I woke up this morning with the image of me calling "Sandpiper 38, Chaitanya" on the VHF and no response. We really enjoyed our times with you two over the past 6? years. We were so happy to see you get married and go cruising. It seems like I have had more than my fair share of goodbyes in the past years- I'm sure you can relate. I'm beginning to really hate it! We really miss you two already and look foward to following your travels electronically. Be good to eachother- love is the answer- may you continue to be showered with blessings as we are.
