South Molle Island, Whitsundays

Yesterday we left Lindeman Island around 1 o'clock and were able to sail the entire way (15 miles) to South Molle Island. Finally... some wind and a nice current to push us along! The best part about yesterday's sail was that we were able to use our whisker pole (that we traded a case of beer for) to pole out the jib sail. It made full use of all our sail area to catch as much wind as possible.

After rounding the 'horn' of Molle and picking up a mooring ball, the Scrabble Challenge began. Tom wins every game. But I am getting better.

We celebrated Cinco de Mayo with yummy fish tacos and Margaritas (made with Tang) back on Molle Island. How fitting!

We are off this morning for the big city of Airlie Beach where we hope to partake in the Airlie Beach Food and Wine Festival for a local charity. Hope everyone enjoys their weekend!

Cheers

Amy and Tom
