Ahoy Mates,

Team Sandpiper is currently anchored in front of the Kingfisher Bay Resort. We are getting ready to move on to Gary’s Anchorage this morning. We have a 3 knot tide in our direction and it is about a 15 mile trip. We left Urangan and motor sailed here two days ago, a 15-mile trip that was nice and flat. There was sandy shoals all around us.

The resort here is an eco-friendly resort. Fraser Island is a national park and is the world’s largest sand island. We went ashore yesterday and crashed the resort's pool and hot tub. There are signs on the beach saying "If you are attacked by dingos, defend yourself aggressively."
