See the weather where the Sandpiper is

Ron here. I found a new service that you can use with Google Earth that overlays the earth with the current cloud information. Every 3 hours the satillite images of earth's current clouds are superimposed on to Google Earth.

So if you click on this link, it will put the current weather on the globe. Then click on the Google Earth link on the right column of this blog to see the Sandpiper Voyage. With the two "places" clicked on, you can see what kind of weather Tom and Amy are seeing.
